My server Amanda was amazing. She is the friendliest and sweetest server I've ever had. She got our order right without writing anything down, refilled our drinks without us having to ask and was very professional and warm. Will definitely be going back and hopefully will have the same server!

My husband and I went to the Newport Diner for dinner tonight. Amanda our server was friendly and attentive. My husband ordered the roasted turkey dinner and was surprised of the thick cuts of turkey (white and dark meat), homemade stuffing and mashed potatoes-- this is his "go to favorite dinner". He loved it he said that it was VERY GOOD. I had the Big Hearty breakfast with a side of scrapple, also very good. The hash browns were cooked perfectly. The place is clean and you can see into the kitchen which is also very clean. We will be back. Thank you

Generous portions at very reasonable prices. Service is good-casual and friendly. Some selections aren't very good; stick to typical diner fare (vs. international) and you'll be fine.

Had a great lunch here and enjoyed everything especially the crab cakes! Wow, so much crab and cooked perfectly! Excellent service and especially liked their tree honoring community veterans. What a neighborhood gem!

Breakfast is my weakness. I normally get an omelet with rye toast, homefries and a side of salsa (excellent homemade). I have never been disappointed. When I don't get an omelet - I get eggs and bacon. Their price for 3 eggs is the same for 2 eggs - never saw that anywhere else. The bacon is always done to my likeness.

The best turkey dinner hands down. Took 2 turkey dinners home instead of cooking. Best decision ever. Full of flavor, portion size...best bang for your buck. It was delicious.

Hidden gem of a place, great for breakfast. Really good service, clean and nice size portions of food. Definitely recommend( Cash only)

Best Breakfast Food around, highly recommended. I got the mushroom and sausage omelette and it was the best one I've had in a long time. Great service, only downside is that it's cash only but they do have an atm on site.

Afer shopping at Costco and reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. We were immediately seated after arriving. The restaurant is small, but very spacious and not at all cramped. It's very minimally decorated, with the walls being light gray and adorned with blind-covered windows. A Christmas tree stands next to the entrance while counter seating can be found by the entrance to the kitchen. All of the seats sans the counter are booth seats, with some of the booths having regular chairs as well. Hubs ordered the fried oysters platter from the weekly specials. He said that he should've ordered with his head Instead of his heart. He recognized that hr should've ordered it at a seafood joint. It was passable and felt something was missing and can't be pinpointed. I thought it was fried okay but it tasted bland. He also ordered potato salad and thought it was ok. Daughter ordered 2 eggs over easy with scrapple. She loved the scrapple and said she will definitely order this again next time! Lastly, I ordered short stack banana pancakes, which is 2 pancakes versus 3 pancakes for a hot stack. It was pretty good and fluffy. Service was pretty friendly and quick. This place is located in a strip mall and there's no fear of not finding a parking spot. Will definitely return when in the area to try other items on the menu.

2 important take aways : I Did not know this establishment was Cash Only!! The food is cheap. Food was decent. My party of 4 adults and two kids enjoyed omelets, stuffed French toast, Turkey sausage, blueberry pancakes, and toast. Oh mashed potatoes and gravy for our youngest diner. The restaurant itself is small and tucked in the shopping center. The staff was friendly as well as the local frequent customers that said hi as I walked the diner with my little one. This is very much comfort food and would not mind coming back.
